"Excellent stop off hotel for the Spanish / French border crossing, access from the motorway takes seconds, shops around the area are duty free, so stocking up on cigarettes or booze is easy, hotel itself is spotless, excellent staff, good breakfast, would have no hesitation in returning, actually started & ended our Euro trip with a night here. "Beautiful renovation of a train station ! The hotel is modern, slick and very stylish. The staff was super nice. The breakfast was excellent with lots of cheeses and sausage (fouet) croissants and good breads. They even have gluten free options. We really enjoyed our overnight stay. "

"The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. The view from the room was idyllic and I have already planned my return next year"

"We stayed for 2 nights in double room that was very spacious - small sitting area, large bedroom, and an outdoor balcony facing the water. Parking was easy enough (we didn't use car in town) and it was a 5 minute walk into main area so very convenient. Staff was very nice, room had more than we needed. It's not fabulous, but either is the price and I would definitely recommend it without hesitation."

Unfortunately there were no laundry facilities as mentioned in the description and the restaurant facilities were not available as mentioned either and we only found this out after we booked. This should have been mentioned prior to us booking. But all in all, I would recommend this place."

"For those looking for a nice and quiet place near Puigcerda. There is absolutely nothing at Age. No bar, no supermarket, no restaurant, nothing... Puigcerda is a 30-45 minute walking. However, you need a car because walking on the road is neither easy nor safe. Therefore Cal Marrufes location has problems and advantages. Excellent service, good breakfast and, what is very precious coming from Barcelona, SILENCE."
