"My husband and I stayed in house #4. Despite the somewhat run down exterior, the inside of the house was a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and cozy. A major highlight was the screen porch where we enjoyed the peaceful river view while having coffee in the mornings. The people from the management office were very friendly and accommodating and offered tips for restaurants and things to do. "The room was interesting. The beds were comfortable. The owners were an amazing family. Being the 1st time at this type of lodging was a little disappointing. The description said breakfast included served 8 to 10. This ended up being a bagged breakfast with a sandwich to be microwaved in your room. We were told garbage could be brought down to the front desk. The restaurant had limited hours. Pretty hefty fees were charged for limited services."
