Modern South has a nice pool, superb service (thanks Felix, Juma, Lugo,Patrick) from people who care, the rooms are fine (not luxurious but everything you need w plenty of space nice shower water pressure and a great firm bed w nice linens (that amazingly are changed daily!). "An absolute pearl on the Kenyan coast. The location is quite and beautiful, with professional and super friendly staff and management. The food was amazing and served in wonderful atmosphere. "Never been so nervous staying here, the cottage was in the middle of no where, the entrance was not secure and couldn't lock it. Only very hot water for the showers no cold. The staff were friendly but the cottage was not very clean, the view of the ocean was good but very expensive for what we got."
