"This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

"Hotel has probably seen it’s day. Photo of outdoor pool shown on Expedias website was the draw to stay there. Pool is closed! FALSE ADVERTISING! General staff was very helpful and tried hard to help the guests but we were shocked to wake up to a woman screaming at the top of her lungs berating some poor fellow. "La posizione di questa strutture e gli spazi esterni sono veramente eccezionali; si vede che l'hanno ristrutturato da poco e questo è un merito ma si sono persi nei dettagli. La colazione è veramente scadente con cornetti numerati a stanza!!! ed il personale decisamente sottodimensionato ed il cameriere di sala veramente scortese. 8/10 Good

"Nice hotel with lovely grounds and pool area. Room had good AC and a small shower with amazing water pressure. Check-in was a bit slow and disorganized, but staff were friendly enough to. Restaurant is quite good, an important consideration as there are not a ton of options nearby unless you have a car. Easy walk to the Paestum archaeological park. Pool patrons are required to wear a bathing cap (these can be purchased at the hotel — helpful for those of us who hadn’t seen one in decades). Breakfast was very good, with lots of choices and good coffee. Dinner at the restaurant was also well worth it, particularly the pineapple ice cream crumble dessert. Would definitely recommend this property."
