Bar area was modern and open however the area around the property, despite the fact it is near the marina, was grotty. Plymouth centre is not particularly pleasant anyway but perhaps once developed, the area around will look less of a mess."

"Generally, not a bad place. Could get a bit of modernisation. The room we stayed in was very small and we really struggled to move around, let alone get clothes out of the luggage. We liked breakfasts though, the breakfast area very nice and clean, and the place is dog friendly so overall if you’re planning to spend most of your time on the move, I suppose it doesn’t need to be a 5 star fancy hotel to enjoy your holiday. "
