"The hotel was clean and conveniently located to the city center. The staff was friendly and there was a good basic breakfast. The room was too warm and it was difficult to turn down the heat. There was no reception after 17:00. There was no evening meal service, but the city center with several good restaurants was only 5 minutes walk."

"Above average breakfast and friendly staff. Overall quiet Parking is a challenge, many areas in this non-smoking hotel have a strong smoking smell, overall dated. Flimsy shower curtain can transfer you bathroom into a swimming pool. In case you are wondering, no AC and open windows might provide a lot of information about your fellow hotel guests. To be fair, there was always some wellness program which I did not participate as well as special evening dinner events."

"The hotel is a few kms from the local town and set out in the vineyards with a rolling hill landscape - very pretty. Easy parking - but it will get limited when hotel is busy. Check in was swift and friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor but a lift was available so no problem there. Spacious rooms and big, clean bathroom with both a bath and a shower. "The hotel was lovely however some challenges occured when trying to park the car (very limited parking in the premisses). Additionally there are no fans or air conditioning so going in the summer could prove a challenge. That said the staff is very warm and helpful and the town was delightful. Conveniently located near the Hbf."

"The owner/manager went above and beyond. We arrived a little late (after check in hours) and he waited for us just to be sure we had a place to stay. Beautiful property. "A very nice hotel. Friendly staff, very clean and they made a real effort for my”speacil needs” breakfast. Disntbuse the spa but it looked fantastic. A well run hotel with real emphasis on customer service. The only negative thing was that the hotel was “closed” on arrival (12:30 am) and if there had not been a few people in the bar outside I am not sure how we would have got in. "

"Shocking! No reception to check you in despite it being 3pm, envelope left on stairs with room number! Breakfast was a joke, cereal, few bread buns and a menu offer to cook an egg and that was it! Didn’t even have a toaster! Room was ok but we were on top floor and having to carry cases up 3sets of stairs to the top floor wasn’t ideal! Bathroom was so small the door barely closed with sink and toilet. Bed was good though!"
