"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA!! got there and they refused our booking as they said Expedia owed them money. They turned us away! Contacted Expedia who said they would try and get us a refund as they’d already sent the money, but they wouldn't give us a refund. THEY ARE THIEVES! VERY DODGEY!!"

"Negative: the room has no air conditioning, no tv, no WiFi. The bed sheets and towels all have (yellow) stains - we got them replaced and the new also had stains. The appliances do not work properly (shower). The bathroom has no hooks for towels. In total, the room, is below average. The big advertising to see the stars from the bed does not work if the window is not clean, also if the room gets hot and has no air conditioning. The restaurant‘s food was slightly off - not worth the price in...

"Very comfortable and modern house located close to the center of town. The walk up is quite steep however. There is everything you need to enjoy your stay and if something is missing you just ask Rafael and he will take care of it. There is even a small stove fire to keep you earm while you gaze at the stars. The breakfast is great"

"Quite simply the best hotel/accomodation of our entire 3 week trip. The Cabanas were brilliantly finished and modern, the breakfast delivery every morning was great but the star of the show was our private terrace/balcony where we could lay at night and watch the stars. Claudia was also the most accommodating person and went out of her way to ensure we had the best few days in Elqui Valley. 100% Recommend."
