I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "This hotel does was it says on the tin. It is definitely a 3 star and I miss the tea/coffee facilities in the room! There are no spare plug sockets to charge electrical items. We were lucky and got given a room on the 4th floor which had a balcony. This hotel is very close to the old part of Braga and so extremely convenient. Breakfast is basic and choice is limited but it is fine to start the day. Parking is very limited however there is a public car park close by and relatively cheap."

"Lovely apartment with a great location to get around the city. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags but we were allowed to check in. Property has a lift so no lugging cases up the stairs. It was superbly clean and has everything you need. Requested an iron and was no trouble and was delivered to us in 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again. "

It’s located less than 2km from the cathedral and city square, and Bom Jesus is less than a 15 minute drive (or you can take a bus). Great price and a nice boxed breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful, though they did forget our early departure on the second morning. "

"The AC never got cold even on the lowest setting. On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times. "
