"GOOD: - location in central Foix allows foot access to just about everything. - great staff - overall a nice, simple hotel. BAD: - cafe / bar / restaurant closed most days. - Breakfast is expensive for the minimal and only ‘okay’ food served. - rooms facing street can suffer from noise (shouting, vomiting, crying) as bars close - rooms get hot. Can only cool with open windows, and given street noise…"

"This hotel, in the medieval buildings of Mirepoix is brilliantly placed to give access to the town’s beautiful architecture and lively main square. The hotel is extremely clean, and staff were efficient and friendly. "

"The apartments are nice but the hotel is located at the junction of two mountain rivers which are very noisy. The internet said that the hotel had 24hr reception but it is only open for limited hours and closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The hotel swimming pool was also closed for the first part of our visit. Probably all this was incorporated into the price we paid but the advertising didn't state it."
