"This was a little gem of calmness.excellent location and well placed for the beach and our walks around the island .great room with plenty of storage ,really comfortable bed .would recommend this to anyone looking to stay on the island.amazing bus service on the island ,great views and obviously the history and museums from the occupation. "We had a wonderful stay at The Driftwood Inn. The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely worth booking a sea view room, we sat and watched the waves crashing and listened to the sea - very relaxing. We will definitely stay again. "

"This hotel has a very interesting historical background with all the comforts one expects at a nice hotel. The staff is friendly and receptive to any requests. The room we stayed in was clean, well taken care of by housekeeping and had updated and modern bathroom and lighting/appliances. very nice and comfortable common areas, clean looking pool. excellent included breakfast, continental breakfast as well as hot breakfast made to order. Friendly kitchen staff as well. Also the food at the bar attached to hotel is excellent as well. Convenient location near bus stops, but you will need to take a bus or other transportation back from town unless you want to walk up hill! But the bus stops. Ear the hotel are near several bus lines so you won’t have a problem finding a ride back. The hotel could use some ramps as there are some steps and long corridors, even on the ground floor areas. Overall wonderful stay. Will stay here again and recommend to others. "
