"Firstly, finding the hotel was not easy. It’s part of hotel Flamingo, you have to cross a smelly still water inlet if you want to use this hotels pool which was bigger. Mare Pineta is a three star but could be better at that - uneven pathways, which we tripped over, outside our room was not clean with cigarette ends and broken flower pots. Our room was clean and cool, shower was the old traditional curtain which you had to move to allow water to drain away. Food not great, though main course was...

"Nice hotel even with the possibility to dine in the evening. Very close to the famous beaches of the Sardinia South West coast. Great hospitality from Gildo and his family. Definitely a nice hotel at a good price"

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Portovesme. Extremely friendly and efficient check in. Breakfast lovely and coffee great. Our bikes were stored safely in the garage with no fuss. Portovesme was a surprisingly lovely little town and we will definitely be back."

My only issue was the wifi signal strength was too weak to connect in the room. You had to come down to the lobby. also, finding parking around the hotel was not easy."
