"We booked this hotel en route to Denmark. We were travelling with our three year old child also. The hotel was relatively easy to find, with plenty parking. We phoned ahead as we're running late - which turned out to be a wise thing as reception closes at 8pm. When we arrived, we found the staff to be friendly, they spoke English (which saved us from using our pigeon German and/or bad sign language) and we were given directions to our room which was in one of the annex buildings. "The hotel is perfectly located for the old city. We had the Deluxe Room and all the details were perfect - bathrobes, slippers, two sinks, huge shower and bath with luxurious toiletries. The decor was modern with a hint of tradition. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We could hear birds in the morning and the bells of the cathedral. Wonderful sunset over the city skyline. A truly luxurious, indulgent and relaxing stay"

"This was one one of our favorite places we stayed at while in Germany. Our room was big and and clean . Very close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. I could live in this apartment!! "

"This is an older charming hotel situated next to the water that surrounds Lubeck. Because of the age of the building, there was no air conditioning. Our room got stuffy at night. We faced a busy street, so did not want traffic noise and kept the door to the balcony closed. I suspect it would be very warm in the heat of summer. But staff were very pleasant and accommodating. "

"A perfect stay in a beautiful city, location is perfect in a quiet neighbourhood and 2 minutes walk from the number 12 bus stop which takes you into the city. The lady owner speaks very good English and is a real character with a great sense of humour and this made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was a quality buffet with cheese, hams, salami, salmon, yoghurts, jam, breads etc. and delicious coffee. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area."

"Very cute hotel in a small town. The hotel was small and easy to find and the rooms were big considering the size of the hotel. The only thing I would suggest is that if you’re not fluent in German this might not be the best place. The staff tried their best to communicate and answer questions and having a translation app on our phones helped. "

"Das Hotel ist sehr komfortabel und clever eingerichtet. Nähe zum Strand ist großartig. Pool, Fitness und Schwimmbad sehr schön. Frühstück immer mit großer Auswahl und reichhaltig, leider waren die Rühreier und der Speck nicht immer sehr warm. Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplatz leider sehr teuer, in der Nähe kann man auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz wesentlich günstiger parken. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert. "

"Ein Aufenthalt im Hotel Strengliner Mühle ist ein Erlebnis. Ich war schon mehrmals im Hotel und war jedesmal zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und immer sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, und abends gibt es auch ein gutes Essen im Restaurant. So bald man ins Hotel tritt merkt man die gute Stimmung. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich komme ganz sicher zurück."
