"Very nice hotel for £60/ night, clean and spacious room. Dinner at restaurant was excellent! Good size portions. Nice to have a bar and restaurant open on a Sunday evening when most of France closes down all day. Shame hotel.com allows hotel to advertise the spa and pool as part of the hotel rate when there’s a 35€ fee for the use of the pool and jacuzzi. "

"This hotel is brand new and so the satnav had great difficulty in finding it, but perseverance paid off. The room was smallish but fine and the bed was really good - a rarity in French hotels! The reception was excellent and the restaurant was way beyond our expectations - lovely staff and super food. This is a really convenient stopover spot for heading to and from France via Calais."

"The property is nice and very clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The location is great overlooking the marina and within a walking distance to the beach, the towns shops and the supermarket. We parked for free nearby opposite a nice bakery only 2 minutes walk to the hotel, we could see our car from the balcony. The bakery is a plus as it opens very early in the morning and sells bread, pastries, sandwiches and pizza so great for buying meals. "

"Hôtel is good quality & we enjoyed the pool and the bar. Although front of house did come out to check we were actually hotel guests & allowed in the pool. We were told the tennis courts are out of action which is a big shame for us. There are photos of 3 courts on the hotel website. "

"The Staff were very friendly and helpful at Hotel Le Carnot, and the location was good. Right in the middle of town a 5 minute walk to the sea front. There is no Car Park at the Hotel but this doesn't matter because there is plenty of free spaces on the roads around the hotel. "

"This hotel is in the heart of the town. There is easy cheap parking within 200 metres. The rooms are compact but comfortable and well kitted out with tea and coffee added. Breakfast is good quality. Just one thing to note. There is no lift anfctge stairs are steep and up to three floors. But if uou are fit highly recommended"

"A practical hotel next to the beach. This is a good option for an overnight stop to rest during a trip to/from the UK. Wake up to a good breakfast and the sound of the sea, then continue your journey. Very friendly and helpful staff."

"We had stayed at this hotel some years ago and it was just perfect. This year May 2024 we stayed again for one night It was very comfortable but the bathroom door was swollen and using bathroom during night made quite a noise. The curtains were a bit shabby but we did have electric shutters so maybe remove the shabby curtains altogether. Breakfast was good there was a good selection."

"Beautiful building & lovely garden. Our room was huge & very nice. The staff were very helpful. The reason this is not “excellent”overall is that we were there on a Sunday & the restaurant is closed. That was not a major problem but you do have to drive somewhere for dinner & we’d been in the car all day. We were directed to the nearby coast & it was lovely. But when we returned about 8pm thinking we’d have a drink in the sun in the garden, so the driver could enjoy a drink, the bar was also...

"We arrived with a dog weighing over 100kgs and nobody gave us a wrong look. Warm welcome, comfortable room and a location to die for. Good evening meal and pleasant surroundings. I want to return. Best bed I have slept in for years."
