"We chose the property for the castle look. When we arrived we found a very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fantastic and highly recommend it. It is so close to many restaurant options. Lots of places to sit and just enjoy right outside the hotel. If there is one negative, it is inability to park on site. The Parking isn’t far though and quickly forgotten once settled into your room. We stayed here by chance and scrolling but very happy we did!"

"In the center of Schagen everything is walkable. Only one hour by train to Amsterdam. Thursday is market day and is very entertaining The only thing that we didn’t like was the weather but the hotel was amazing. Ps. Nice breakfast buffet every morning "

"Pros: Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, easy parking, good location, lucky to find any accommodation at all as it was the last room available on the island. Cons: We apparently booked a "budget room" although we paid 300 Euros for 2 nights. Toilet and showers were across the corridor and not private. The room was terribly hot and noisy in the morning when early birds packed their cars. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Forest Hotel. We loved the theme and the attention to detail. It was central for the train station and town centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was of good variety and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would come back. "

"Prima hotel, netjes en schoon en een toplocatie. Helaas is ontbijt geen optie. In de buurt wel diverse plekken om te ontbijten. Vriendelijk ontvangst en goede parkeergelegenheid. Oplaadpunt elektrische auto op ca 2 minuten lopen."

"Mooie omgeving met Alkmaar, maar ook het strand en de duinen op korte afstand. Park ziet er netjes en verzorgd uit. Woning eveneens. Praktisch en prettig ingericht. "

"The house had pleasing design features, the staff were friendly, the room was clean. However the second floor room we were given was very small with an angled low ceiling. The AC did not work effectively. The toilet was very near your bed. There was no room to unpack. It was not a “deluxe” room. Although we had paid for 5 days we checked out after 3. Unless you can get a first floor room, do not bother booking. "

"Am Tag der Ankunft war die Heizung defekt 12Grad im Mobilheim nach mehreren Telefonaten mit der Parkleitung (Sonntag) würde mir erklärt das man heute nichts für mich tun konnte Montag gegen Mittag auch wieder nach mehreren Telefonaten Kamm dann endlich ein Mitarbeiter der uns leider auch nicht helfen konnte am späten Nachmittag endlich jemand der die Heizung ans laufen brachte "
