"The location of Le Bovallon was perfect for us. It was a short walk to Mahebourg and far enough from the town to be nice and quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and the beaches of Pointe d'Esny and Blue Bay (best snorkelling on the island) are a 5-10 drive away. "The owner was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. Location is right next to the bus station so very convenient. Also right next to the Monday market. Not a lot to do here, especially on Sunday but very relaxing and easy to get around the island by bus."

"In the first place there was no staff at the place when checking in at 8pm. Luckily, someone showed up after ringing the bell several times. Rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Noisy surrounding and a lot of nose during the whole night, barely couldn’t sleepy. Nevertheless, used this hotel only to get easy to the airport the next day"
