The staff was friendly and the cook even made custom made food to our request. The owner of hotel was most accommodating and helped us plan our trips. "Not bad, but not great. Hot water was iffy. Checkout is at 8am! Who's up at 8am when on vacation? Had a leaking sink that they just couldn't fix, which meant water leaked out onto my sink and floor. Had some issues with service personnel. Kind of hard to find. I would not recommend it. At the same time, it was okay. Food was great, and they fed us breakfast and supper. Place was really clean. "

"The TIH New Glacier View is located centrally within walkable distance of Leh Market. Room had a large room heater which kept the room temperature at 22 deg C while the outside was 0 deg C. Good food. Courteous staff. "

Driving to the hotel is a little complicated even with maps due to narrow roads around. Rooms, linen & toilets are clean. Room has a standing fan and heater. Hot water available all day. There is no lift/elevator and have to climb stairs each time which is quite tedious in this altitude. Carrying luggage is next to impossible by us but staff will do it. Free Parking is available...

The hotel staff and manager are dishonest. they booked us a taxi to the airport early in the morning but when we stepped out to look for our taxi, we noticed another hotel guest getting in. They passed on our booking to someone else for more money. Didn't care if we made it to the airport. They will do anything for extra money. Not ethical, not trustworthy. I give this hotel a thumbs down."
