"Wow. What a lovely spot. Hard to imagine there could be a better place to stay in Kaikōura. A perfect location walkable to lots of shopping, dining, and the beach and with gorgeous views from the rooms and the outdoor spaces on the property. Room was very clean, well equipped and spacious. Breakfast was included and was generous and tasty. Hostess had helpful suggestions for our stay. Highly recommend."

"We really loved the cottage and everything about it, we also liked the owner. However we were concerned we might lose our booking as our ferry was late. We emailed to let them know we would not be there at the nominated time of 7pm. The email was not responded to, maybe in future confirm that the office would still be open to receive us"

"Very happy with all aspects of our stay. Very friendly staff and easy to talk to. Good location for walks to town or the peninsula to see the seals. Thoroughly clean unit with a large bathroom including very useful mirrors."
