"Book a luxury room with sofa bed for family. On arriving the AC doesn't working and in the room was 30°, imagine that with two small children after 5 hours travelling. Fast reaction from the reception to resolving the problem, they change our room with better, but the TV doesn't working almost on every channel. In fact the staff was very hopefully and the breakfast was great, the poll too. And last the SPA was amazing with Ice cave "

Stayed for two nights and the trains go through all night, with loud tannoy announcements etc. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, but we were disappointed to have such a noisy room when it's a large hotel and didn't appear to be full. The room was also only set up for one, even though I booked for two so had to have towels and pillows delivered late. The soap dispensers...

"This is a beautiful old hotel in old Plovdiv. Every night they provide free wine and cheese and the breakfast is delicious. They do need a better map of Old Town but I highly recommend this hotel!"

"This place is great. Yes it's a guest house so not staffed at all times. No problem! The full renovation to the historic dwelling is outstanding. Full attention to detail is afforded by Boris. Lots of nice little touches throughout. We stayed in the underground dungeon.No noise problems.Lovely clean, modern and functional room. Our best stay so far in our 5 week trip."
