"Property was in a great location to the train station, shopping and dining. Our room was clean and had a nice water view. The only complaint was the toilets stopped working for several hours. Other than that, everything was great: staff was friendly, breakfast buffet was amazing, location was great and our room was clean. "

"I wish the hotel is closer to the central station as others. The hotel is about 1.5 km away from the central station. I need to take a 5 min bus and walk about 10 minutes to get to the hotel. If you have a car, the location will be good because you have a parking space. If you travel by train, it will be much easier to stay closer to the central station. Room size and cleanliness are ok. "

The location is peaceful, with a nice park, kiosk serving refreshments, public toilet and beach nearby with lifeguards on duty near the pier. There were two restaurants attached to the hotel. "We loved this hotel. It is definitely a bit quirky in its decor but it suited the surrounding area perfectly. The staff were all friendly and efficient, the evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic, and the breakfast was plentiful and varied and was equal, if not better, to the breakfasts we ate in Copenhagen and Malmo. The restaurant was light, airy and with a stunning view of the harbour. Loved it!"

"Gilleleje Badehotel is one of the classic Danish seaside hotels dating from the end of the 19th Century, when the well situated started to spend their holidays away from the capital city. Gilleleje has an active port with both fishing vessels and leisure boats, and nice restaurants. There is a beautiful 1,5 km seaside walking path from the hotel to the port. We visited during winter and really appreciated our windy walks in the area. "
