"The reception staff was very friendly. However the room was a disappointment. There was not toilet paper, the sheets were dirty and stained. I had to use a towel on the bottom sheet and slept in my clothes. I booked for two nights and stayed one night and checked out. The location was nice very close to the beach and local restaurants. I would not recommend staying here. "

"Room rates are high for the quality of amenities provided and overall services. There's no room service, the on site cafe uses concentrates for all beverages, and some of these containers are not even close to being stored hygienically. The staff are ok but service is slow if you want extra towels etc. The view from the room is 10/10, waking upto a beautiful sunrise is serene. Access to the beach is easy and tedious at the same time. Overall we did have a good time."

"Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure."

It’s in a convenient spot at the very end of the cliff ‘strip’ so, if you turn left out of the hotel, you’ve can walk along the clifftop past lots of shops and an endless choice of restaurants. "We came for a week and booked three more! It’s such a special place❤️ The staff treats you so well and looks after all your needs. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the cliffs but yet a short walk if you want to venture out for a meal. The beach is fabulous and the Arabian Sea water is so warm and therapeutic. "Interesting stay here. The lobby area is beautiful, centred around a supposedly natural pool and banyan trees, water flowing alongside the paths. We stayed in their cheapest room which was poor condition but pretty clean. Can’t really complain for the price. The owner/manager was like a movie villain trying to be nice, loudly playing sinister sounding chants from reception. The morning yoga was great. The Ayurvedic massage was ok. "
