"Just got back from Kooncharaburi Resort Koh Chang and wow… what an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly, helpful and made check-in so easy. "The spa was ok and staff were friendly. BUT under no circumstances take the tour operators they supply. It took us 7 hours in an appalling old smelly van to get to Pattaya. I missed my flight and the driver was both aggressive and very rude. I was told it would take maximum 5 hours. There were no traffic jams but the van wouldn't go above 70kms an hour. The driver spent at least 5 hours of the 7 on the phone. We all agreed he was super rude. Disgusting journey and ended up costing me over 700...

"This hotel is in the jungle there are no 7--11 or food stalls for miles so go well stocked up when we first entered the room there was no fridge and I told reception and they came and put one in straight away there is no kettle and no english channels on the TV, the pool is nice with a fun slide the beach looks dirty would not advise swim in there overall the hotel is nice but I think they are Lettings locals and there relatives use the pool on a night "
