"Basic hotel but very affordable for our budget. There is a McDonald's across the street and easy access to the freeway. Breakfast is 12 Euros which is not cheap for what you get. U need a car for this hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Its a good base to explore Normandy without staying at an expensive hotel closer to the D Day Beaches. There is a Lidl a short distance away. I would stay here again if I have a vehicle. "

In the breakfast room I observed that the knives and forks were placed with the handles at the bottom of the containers with knives and forks. It means everybody will touch the part you put in your mouth when they pick up theirs. It is also a health code violation (at least in the US). When I took my concerns to the reception they said, actually some other guest pointed it out also, but...
