"Price is fair and cheaper than any other place near Amboseli National Park. The Park entrance is only a 5 to 10 mim drove away from this camp.Make sure to call the property or email them directly after booking with Expedia since they seem to have technical issues with them. Felt safe. But gosh, food is lame and expensive at 2,000 per person for Lunch and Dinner although breakfast is free. Make sure to be clear about the prices too. "Extemely angry at our treatment at this hotel. Would recomend avoiding at all costs. We did not want food during our stay and brought are own however the staff made food anyway and guilt tripped us into eating it. We then asked for costs or prices and were told the food was free and inclusive to our stay. Sadly this was a complete a lie and at checkout they tried to charge us 25 pounds a person for each meal. Even the small pack lunches with half a sandwich and an apple. The staff then lied and...

I booked a room in A.A. Lodge Amboseli
Amboseli, Kajiado County, Kenya, through the online hotel.com service on February 23 and paid $ 177 for 1 day through a visa card. When I arrived in A.A. Lodge Amboseli, the hotel administrator did not meet me warmly, suspecting that I really paid for the stay? How will I prove it?
When I showed the confirmation from hotels.com from my email, he stated that hotels.com had not yet transferred the money to their account, so I have to pay in cash now ......

"Let me start by saying the staff and service was excellent. You could not fault them for trying to please and ensuring that they made you as welcome and comfortable as possible. But the camp itself was very run down and showers and general facilities disappointing. The blame for this has to be with the owners of the camp who have failed to spend money on decent facilities. The money we paid was not a mean amount and I am sure others paid more but really the owners need to reconsider whether or...
