"This place was awesome. Built in like 1550 or something and you can feel it in certain parts. Room was great, and bigger than I thought. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Would recommend 10/10! Only issue, but not even an issue was the stairs creaked. (They’re old. Oh well!)"

"Great location near Old Town.Our room is very spacious and the bathroom is wheelchair accessible. I would have liked more ceiling lights, but we managed. We walked 2-3 miles all over Basel and felt at ease and safe the whole time. There are several dining options nearby. One caution, the food is expensive. The room is NOT air conditioned, but it's July and the windows are open, the fan on, and we are very comfortable. I'd recommend a stay here. "
