"The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. The view from the room was idyllic and I have already planned my return next year"

Tea and coffee in the rooms would be nice as well, something other Parador hotels offer."

"The Diamo is a beautiful hotel with a fabulous view of the valley. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and offered a good choice of cold ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, croissant, toast, jam & butter etc.and the coffee was excellent. "Saint-Lary is a wonderful location, a lively vibrant town set in the picturesque Pyrenees mountains. Truly stunning! The residence is dated slightly and so could benefit from a bit of a refresh, and the staff were a little "cold" in terms of service but professional and helpful enough; although the reception hours were limited."
