"Lovely hotel opposite the train station and very close to the attractions, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the castle, lake, shops, town, etc, which makes this a perfect location. The room was great, shower wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the huge windows, the desk space and the comfy chair. Everywhere was modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of good quality options. I wasn't keen on the QR code booking breakfast/check out...

Secondly: the curtains in both rooms were not suitable for bedrooms, shutting no light out and making sleeping quite difficult. "

"What an amazing place. This extremely well maintained old farm is now acting as restaurant and inn with very classic and tasty rooms. The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic. Views, yard and gardens are lovely too. Even the weather was good 😊"

"The decor in the property is a little dated but it was clean, the bed was very comfortable and large rooms. The chef was very personable and even arranged bacon to be available for us at breakfast even though it is not on their menu. The food was delicious and the blonde haired waitress very friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay and good value for money. "
