"Stopped for two nights with my husband on a motorbike trip to the Picos. We loved staying here. We had a beautiful balcony view looking out on to farm land and mountains and could hear the birds singing. So tranquil. Loved all the geranium window boxes. So pretty. "Les lieux sont très chouettes, la demeure est très jolie avec beaucoup de charme. Un bémol car l hôtel a annulé notre deuxième nuit sur place malgré notre réservation et bien que des chambres restent disponibles sur le site. Dans les détails a améliorer, le lieu est très calme mais on entend un peu les chambres d'a côté, le petit déjeuner est un peu cher mais très bon et il y avait une petite odeur dans la salle de bain. On a quand même pris la carte pour le recommander! Super endroit!"

"We loved our stay at Hotel Puerte del Oriente! We booked last minute and wanted to be well located to take advantage of beaches or the mountains. The location is beautiful-close to Llanes for accessing more restaurants and services, but far enough off the busy track to feel very pastoral and relaxing. Our host was very welcoming, the room was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious! We wished we could have stayed longer in this peaceful place."

Excellent hotel with tranquil setting
"Stopped for two nights with my husband on a motorbike trip to the Picos. We loved staying here. We had a beautiful balcony view looking out on to farm land and mountains and could hear the birds singing. So tranquil. Loved all the geranium window boxes. So pretty. Staff were very friendly and we got by with speaking English and a little Spanish! The accommodation was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We could have parked the bike in the garage as pre arranged but felt it was safe to leave the bike at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, not a cooked breakfast , apart from fried eggs and pancakes on one day but plenty of choice and delicious. The restaurant for an evening meal was in a separate building up a hill on the other side of the road. It was only open 1 of the two nights we were there but the quality of the food was excellent and generous portions. The hotel was a perfect position for exploring the Picos and we preferred the more tranquil spot rather than stopping in Potes. Found it a bit tricky to find the entrance to the hotel at first. Think cars had to park on roadside but we could park the bikes in front of the property which was excellent. Wish we'd booked another night. Would I stay again...Yes, definitely. Sad to leave ."
