"The location of the hotel is very good for us , but the door key didn’t work , we needed to go down to reception every day to get it re activated , which was annoying because we had already gone upstairs. The internet was not working until we got a code from reception although we registered our name and room number several times and that only worked for one day . Otherwise everything else was fine . "Beautiful large and clean room with comfortable beds. The grounds and the pool area are very good- large and well maintained pool with lots of shade spaces. Nature is amazing and people can walk around to get exercise. The breakfast is first class. The staff are pleasant and professional. The only cons are that buildings are run down (exterior) and no hair conditioner or body lotion. The bar and restaurant were closed unfortunately, so no dining options within walking distance."

The hotel staff were very attentive and accommodating - ensuring room was cleaned prior to our return (we had a couple of days where we went out for breakfast and were heading out to a wedding in the afternoon - they very kindly accommodated us!). "Stayed in the the Junior suit with a balcony and beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful like a big family! Typical Italian rustic style but very charming hotel. Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us . "Does exactly what it says on the tin. Location is good. Just right outside train station and 5minutes walk to the walls. Rooms a bit dated but good size and functional with a mini fridge. Shower was fine and room keeping did a good job each day. Breakfast was average but think it was free so can’t complain. Bread, hard boiled eggs, selection of pasties and selection of cereals.
