"The nature and the views are exceptional, that is the thing why this place is worth visiting. We had booked three days stay to go downhill skiing, but finally got one day of downhill skiing due to delayed train transportation from Barcelona to Ribes de Freser, and the next day in Vall de Nuria there were too windy so the lifts were closed. There was very few snow, so only couple of slopes were open. Also only one restaurant in the area was open during our stay. "

"Good hotel, but the isolation within the rooms is a little bit low (you can hear easily the noise of people in the other rooms next and above you... It is a pity that you have to pay extra to use the little indoor pool, for sure in low season they should better make it free when the outside pool is not ready for use... "Honestly, one of the worst places I have stayed in a while. Check-in was good and staff were helpful. However, from there it deteriorated quickly. The room was dated and very basic. No grill, no toaster, coffee machine was there but there was moldy coffee left in it. Walls had been repaired in a really poor way in places and the equipment was old and not clean. "Good welcome. English spoken. Modern lift, large well laid out room. Comfortable beds, extra blanket, Fridge with two bottles of water. Kettle with tea and coffee. Wifi, Large walk in shower - plenty of hot water Good parking right out side the door or underground - small payment. In fact everything you could need and more. The restaurant, too was excellent - choice of French or Vietnamese cuisine, good wine list all at a very reasonable price all cooked on the premises. The pintade (guinea fowl) was amazing. As was the creme brulee. We will DEFINATELY be staying there again and would heartily recommend this hotel and its food."

"Friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was a good spread with delicious breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, etc. room had a good shower and updated bathroom with a lovely mountain view. My only negative during my stay was the carpet in the room could have been nicer-there were footprints and stains on it. Also room had a strong perfume smell I could have done without. "
