"The breakfast was very good, if expensive (welcome to France). After multiple trips to breakfast restaurants to eat bread and coffee, having eggs and bacon was a real treat. Yes I am from Canada. Shower was new and relatively roomy. Small room, but well layed out, and we enjoyed 2 twin beds."

Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented, including the Monday "tray meal". All the waiting staff and room cleaners were very polite and efficient. "The hotel has an attractive courtyard and restaurant attached. There is a parking lot in the back and a bathtub in the room which my travel companion really liked. The room also had the interesting feature of blinds that operated with a switch. We really enjoyed the location of the hotel as it is an easy walk to downtown Avranches. "
