"This was very quaint and well maintained property. It definitely fits the bill of a boutique hotel. The property has a nice cafe and restaurant with great service all around. The only downside is the rooms lack a window that open to fresh air so the rooms can get quite stuffy. All in all, we would return for sure. "

"After staying in Mexico City with no air conditioning and above average temperatures, we were so pleased with how cool the mini split kept our room. We slept comfortably for the first time in days! The ambiance of the hotel was wonderful, from being welcomed with a small mezcalini to the beautiful courtyard on the ground floor. The hotel is centrally located making it easy to walk to anywhere in the city. Highly recommend and would stay here again. "

"This was ostensibly a great place! Dipping in the pool during the hottest part of the day was a nice way to have a siesta… The bed was super soft - not in a good way. While we were there they were dealing with some issues with their AC. Of the two nights we stayed we only had working AC for one. They made no offer to make up for the technical failure… Suffice it to say, we didn’t sleep well that night. But, staff was super communicative and helpful. So, if the AC is working - decent place!"

"La Spira is a small, chic and art filled boutique hotel in the Centro of Oaxaca. The hotel has a super cool, classy, artful interior design. Each room has original art and modern design. The location is great; it's within a few blocks of the Zocolo, mercados, and cathedrals. The neighborhood felt very safe, but there is somone on staff 24/7. The room we had is well designed but small. It had one window to the courtyard so if you want privacy, the shade must be down so the room takes on a...

"The staff were very attentive and cheerful. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The inner courtyard was calm, lovely, and inviting. Breakfast options were an included continental breakfast with fresh fruits, a variety of breads, coffees, etc. For a nominal fee you could order eggs, toast, ham. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and they provide a white noise machine and earplugs! I highly recommend this property!"
