"Be aware there's virtually nothing at this hotel outside July-August period - no outdoor pool, outside terraces ALL fenced off, no aquapark, lobby bar closed. Beach bar open for a limited selection of cold drinks only, but area was unkempt and down 50 steps. We didn't get the holiday we expected here. We visited in mid-September, when the weather was still up to 28 degrees C and sunny, yet the hotel provided almost none of the services pictured on the website and booking sites. It wasn't just...

"Wonderful clean accommodation, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Owners were very friendly and accommodating to requests. The bath was the highlight and would recommend to everyone. Only downside was there is no card machine which made paying harder than it could have been."

"Spent three lovely days in Ohrid at the Tino hotel after a stressful few weeks at work. It's clean and ideally located lake front - just a short walk to the town centre and the old town and about 20mins to St John at Kaneo (the famous lakeside church). The hotel staff were lovely and really helpful - finding bus times etc. They have a sister hotel 4km away which they said I could use the pool of - I didn't but it's worth thinking of if you're there a while I guess! The restaurant was delicious!...

"Refreshingly professional service. Wonderful furnishing of the hotel. The host bent over backwards to do anything that he could to help make the visit more comfortable. Outstanding breakfast. In the old town very close to great restaurants and the lake."

"The room was filthy. We are a family and travel frequently and I would never recommend a family stay here. The room was filthy and covered with spiders. We even killed a scorpion in our bed. Our children were scared all the time because of the spiders everywhere. The bathrooms were covered in water and we had to wear shoes to go to the bathroom. The smell from the bathroom was very poor and strong. I am sure this hotel was nice at one point, but it is in need of serious cleaning and attention."

"Great location at the edge of Lake Ohrid and close to all major sights. Check-in was chaotic - I arrived late but despite my email notification the place was shuttered and the after hours phone number listed on hotels.com and placed on the door was out of service. The owners clearly need to check their emails and answer their phones. Other than that everything was fine."
