"This little boutique hotel was absolutely perfect. Not only did it have rooms that could sleep all 6 of us, they are little individual casitas. The grounds were beautiful, and was only accessible behind a gate so we felt very safe parking and walking around the property. Pool was large and clean. "This is a beautiful place. After a week of travelling around Costa Rica, this was a quiet and restful place to prepare for our trip home. The birds and butterflies were very busy in the morning, and the view is very beautiful. It is located less than one hour from the San Jose airport, and the town of San Ramon has many options for dining. The hosts were excellent, and a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast was provided, including perfect gallo pinto. I highly recommend Casa Amanecer."

"Everything was outstanding. The room was immaculate and I loved the paintings on the walls. Breakfast was delicious with a Costa Rican flair. I went swimming in the outdoor pool which was warm and so inviting. The outdoor dining room allowed me time to take in the view of the canyon as well as the birds. Everyone was very friendly and even the owners were very hospitable. I highly recommend the Vista Canyon Inn over any traditional hotel if you want a relaxed inviting place to stay. "

"I have stayed here twice before an the service is excellent and so is the food. The beach is only a 100 meter walk through trees full of Scarlet Macaws. I would recommend a stay here if you are looking for Macaws. Unfortunately, we were cut short in our stay this time. The drive from LA Fortuna was a rough 5-1/2 hours and my niece became ill. We opted to return home to Grecia. "
