"The hotel itself is ckean and the staff are friendly and informative. We had booked a double and got two single beds (although this seems to be the norm in Laos from my experience). The toilet seemed to be blocked along the line a bit (I suspect soneone throw toilet paper down) so a few times we had to find a plunger. Aircon struggled in the heat, but the room had strong ceiling fans. I also like the seperate shower and toilet. I'm not sure the pools PH leveks are checked, as after a short swim...

"Due to an admin error on my part we arrived a day earlier than expected, the staff were very helpful and managed to get us into our rooms without any fuss. The hotel is beautiful, centrally located and the staff are very helpful. We had massages in the spa on a couple of days and again the staff were excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel enough."

"We had a lovely welcome and excellent service from the manager - he booked a minibus for us and cooked breakfast early on the day we left and was always available to help. The room was spotless and cleaned well every day. The shower could do with an upgrade. The location was very convenient, down a quiet side road and we could watch the monks go past at dawn. Building works going on next door, but it didn’t disturb us."

"Really nice place to stay in luang prabang walking distance to old town, although it's a 15-20min walk it can be too much in the heat but you can get a tuk tuk there. I had a double room with balcony it was very nice but the only thing was the noise. Room was facing the road so it was very noisy constantly with cars and scooters driving past, if you need a quiet room ask for a room not facing the road. I was moved to ground floor which was nice and quiet. "
