However standards have noticeably dropped alot, whether its on or off season shouldnt make a difference. Im hoping my next visit will be better. The WIFI is terrible."

"Delightful low key eco resort, just recovering from COVID close down. The rooms are spacious and decorated in local style, the facilities are clean, the garden charming, the staff enthusiastic and very responsive, and the food is good. "

"This place is great for relaxing in Pakse! The lady who runs this place, Ngoc, is a great host and speaks excellent English! You are truly well looked after at this resort and they can keep your luggage stored whilst going on the Bolaven Plateau Loop! We arrived very early in the morning from Vientiane on the night bus, and we were so glad when Ngoc advised us via email that she would make our room ready (with no extra charge) for a 7am check in. "We had a great stay here and were very impressed with the place. Rooms were very clean and very nicely furnished. The place is located right next to a morning market which is ideal for grabbing breakfast and lunch if needed. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help and ask if there is any way they can be of help, and they offered us a complimentary lift to the bus terminal upon leaving the place. "We got room 511 which is very large and faces the back of hotel. Could partly see the beautiful sunset from our windows. The windows can be opened and we can walk to the balcony and walk to other rooms' balcony as well. It's like a few rooms nearby share the same large and long balcony. This design is good as we can walk to other places to view sunset or exercise outdoor but is also risky as other guests can enter our room if we don't lock the windows. "Tired, unloved and a little dilapidated. The first room given had a broken toilet, the seconds A/C didn't work. We were constantly asked for proof of booking, yet they still tried to charge us at the end. They wouldn't boil some water for us, even though we could clearly see a kettle behind reception. Nasty place, nasty staff and local tuk-tuks and taxis consider it to be in the middle of nowhere (It's 6 km from town centre) And rip you off accordingly. Do not book this hole!"
