"This place understands what hospitality is. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if it was our home. Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley. We joined other guests for a family style meal and enjoyed getting to know people from many different countries. Amazing place to relax, appreciate the area, with a wonderful team to help with questions and make the visit super comfortable."

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location. Originally we were only going to stay one night but then ended up staying an additional two nights. The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The whole staff treated us like family specially Agnes. She was amazing. She was so helpful and even booked our dinner reservations one night. She’s the reason that we had no hesitation booking additional nights"

El desayuno preparado por ella misma, fue increíble, con zumo natural, fruta fresca, bollería... "We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta dos Murcas. We felt almost transported to another world - it was serene, beautiful, and easy. The highlight of the stay was the incredible staff who assisted us from well before we even checked in, coordinating activities, dinners, taxi rides, making delicious meals, giving us tours, and being there for anything we needed. This is the type of place where you forget time and truly relax. We loved it!"

"Remarkable property, grand spaces, pool overlooking wine covered hills. Ask for corner room if possible, it came with small balcony and views from multiple directions. The Quinta is located at the end of the most interesting winding road up from Pinhao."

"The staff at this property were outstanding. It was raining when we were there, but in good weather, the outside patios would have been lovely. It's a bit of a walk into town, but we were a group of four seniors and we managed fine. We took a cab back up to the property. After a long day of travelling, we loved the quietness that this property provided."
