The only reason I did not rate it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was because unfortunately there was a cover for the roller blinds that kept us up as it was windy outside and it was not properly fastened. I could not identify what was making the noise until the morning, but notified the front desk of the problem. "

"We had an excellent room with a view of the sea from our terrace. Plenty of space and a recently remodeled room with a comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful and provided us beach towels and parked our car for us."

They are clean (as clean as they can be with the decades of no maintenance). Rooms need a serious upgrade. But it is cheap and the parking is plenty. 15 min walk to the beach. "

"We appreciated the bunk beds for our kids and the balcony. The hotel staff were very nice. Lots of beaches and restaurants with umbrellas and chairs a short walk away. Near a nice strolling/shopping street. We stayed here on our way up to Switzerland and were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel and town! Easy parking on the street in front of the hotel. Laundry facility a few doors down."

"The location was great and staff kind. Great kid bed. Seemed like it's usually a solid hotel. The hotel lost electricity when we were there. Elevators stopped working with someone in them, and all guest passports had to be rechecked. They were overwhelmed with passports and had them lined up on the front desk. Did not seem secure. Also, I'd rather pay less than eat their breakfast. There is a great cafe across the street, and the hotel's offerings were mediocre."

"We had a nice balcony with a view of the picturesque hillside and an extra bed which we used as a sofa. The queen size bed was very close to the twin bed so not much walking room but the bed was very comfortable. Wish we had asked for blankets as the sheets were not warm enough for the chilly nights. The breakfast buffet was a treat and had the typical European rolls, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, eggs, and cereals but the dinner food was less tasteful. "Nice comfortable place with good food. Wi-Fi now good. This is my third time to the hotel and the first the Wi-Fi only worked slowly in the reception area, so I was happy with this visit. As in the past I was given a spacious room with a big balcony looking at the tower of the church opposite. Nice bathroom. Nice desk in room. Good closet space. The large balcony would be a nice place to view the hills and enjoy the sky. All the staff were very nice. Great staff and most speak decent English....
