"Our stay at Pleasant View Inn was excellent. The ocean view from our balcony was fantastic! The room was large and comfortable. We had a concern about the hit water in the shower, and a staff came and addressed it in less than 5 minutes. The restaurant inthe hotel was lovely, and the food and drinks were delicious. The only negative is that there is no elevator, so luggage needs to be carried up and down stairs. This also poses an issue for anyone with mobility needs (wheelchair or walker)....

"My whole family loves this hotel! It is beautiful and clean and in a perfect location. Very walkable to the harbor in Newport. The food is delicious and fresh, the bar is great, and even the mini bar in the rooms is a cut above. "The hotel is in the midst of renovations. The outside is in need of repair, but the rooms and common areas are clean and updated. The deck could use some paint, etc., but the view is fabulous and the seating is comfortable. The pool was clean - hot tub was not working. Front desk staff was courteous and pleasant. "I loved the location to shopping and restaurants. It was on a quiet street but was within a 5-10 minute walk to Thames Street and the wharfs. The staff was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"Ocean Cliff Hotel was a gem of a find! We absolutely loved it! The views were spectacular!! It’s a very short drive to the lighthouse / another gem of a find! And the sunset there was magnificent!! We ended up having dinner there - which was delicious! Breakfast was included, lots of options, and you couldn’t beat the views of Narragansett Bay! We will definitely be going back!!!"

"My daughter and I had an amazing time staying at the Attwater hotel. It was so beautifully decorated made us feel at home in the common area where we got to hang out for a bit. Our room was upgraded to a suite and it was huge! After a day of walking we fell into the comfiest bed- probably the best sleep we had in a hotel. We did encounter a slight issue at front desk but it wasn’t handled professionally, fast and with compassion. Can’t wait to come back! "
