"Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but we had travel slippers with us. So would we go back there, definitely! "

"This was a great location and a comfortable stay. We upgraded to the 2 bedroom for our family stay and the hotel reception couldnt do enough for us. The pool was big..it says theres a minimarket onsite but i didnt find one however there is a supermarket right opposite. The view was stunning. This was our first stay outside of a 'hotel complex' and we wouldnt hesitate to go back"

"Good hotel on the strip! Convenient to the beach and bars! Good air con and also heating option because I have was freezing after a siesta with air con on! But that’s a good thing. Staff were accommodating polite and even refreshed my room on the second day! Thankyou so much Hotel Avenida Praia for the best weekend xx"
