I had to call down to have them come up and fix things. The worst though was a shower that didn't work. They tried to act like the fault was that the city was shutting off the power at certain times during the day, but my friends in other rooms had no such problems. "The Waiting Lodge is a newer hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin. It is associated with a fantastic restaurant, a home movie theatre, and a full gym. The breakfast is delicious with many options both nationals and foreigners enjoy. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is so kind and quick to help us with anything we need. The general manager is very gracious and came and greeted us himself. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing visit in Pyin Oo Lwin. "

"Beautiful room with lovely wooden floorboards and window frames. Comfortable bed. Very reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the service was excellent. Su went out of her way to help with taxi and flight bookings. Will definitely stay there again if I get back to Mandalay again."

"Das Team und der Service ist ok. Personal spricht nur wenig Englisch. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel und hatte einem lauten Ventilator. Kondenzwasser der Klimaanlage tropft einfach auf den Boden. Im Zimmer würde mal geraucht, was deutlich zu riechen war. Bettlaken waren verschlissen und nicht richtig sauber. Da gibt es bessere Hotels in dieser Preisklasse "
