Had to call (international call for me) to get the hotel to send me the pin and room number by text. But for the price, it was a good room and great part of the city to stay and walk around to many local restaurants and bars. "

"My wife and I stayed at the Bryne Hotell after a Burns Supper organized and hosted by the hotel. A very enjoyable event accompanied by traditional music (a visiting Scottish band), bagpipes, whisky, haggis and poetry. A great local band Ållveltes also played later in the evening which made for a fun night. Hope to do it again next year. "The hotel is beautiful and situated in a lovely place for walking. It was also possible to walk down to the fjord. Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. A shame the bar at the hotel only accepted card payments - no cash option."

"It is in perfect location next to Sandnes train station, good selection of food, historical hotel. Love it. This was my second visit in 4 months. Will visit again when I am in the area. "

"It is off peak season so the hotel/lodge is not stuffed during check in time. Hope the self-check in instructions can be sent one day ahead because accessing internet is not always possible while traveling. And the bagged breakfast is too basic and the quantity is on low side. Overall, the lodge itself is great."

We paid extra for a harbour view which was lovely but we could not open the window or sit on the shared balcony because our room was next to a smoking room and the guests there exercised their right to smoke. When we mentioned this in the morning the customer service was appalling with the receptionist shrugging her shoulders and asking what she could do. Well; for one thing not have a smoking room...
