The breakfast was good, but improvements could be made; a better selection of cooked food should be considered. The biggest disappointment however, was the fact that for a €110 room, there were no tea and coffee making facilities. "A beautiful pension type stay in the middle of Cochem close to the castle. The hosts offer a great variety of services and help and are very friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to try Apfel Strudel on the patio with a glass of wine or the house Schnaps!"

"The room was clean, but the mini fridge was left unplugged and someone left food in it so it continued to make the room smell horrible. We had to wait a while at the front desk, because the lady was outside and didn’t hear the bell ring multiple times. Didn’t like that the door was a key. So if there’s more than one person staying and someone left and the other stayed, the other was locked in basically. "We had very good rest and enjoyed the one night stay. Two storey apartment with two bathrooms fits very well for our family. Very comfortable. However you will need a car to reach the hotel. Price is not very cheap, but we redeemed a bonus night from hotels.com. Overall was very good. "
