Units face out to yards where you can see into other properties (like an apartment complex) so the walk-out deck area was not private and had no view. "This hotel is one of my favourite ones anywhere. I first stayed there in 2007, then in 2008 and have been keenly awaiting the opportunity to return to see what it is like in 2024 with my wife. We weren't disappointed. "We arrived at prime check in time but no one at the desk, and it took 10 minutes and ringing the bell multiple times before anyone showed up. The room was very basic, and was on the first floor. It was incredibly hot, and although there was a fan, even with all windows open, it didn’t cool off. The fridge in the room was also putting out exhaust heat, adding to the misery. Being on the first floor, with windows open, we heard ALL of the street noise of which there was much - teens racing...
