"The property was ok, the amenities were great, the pool was clean and the bar and outdoor cafe was nice, and the food was very good. The personnel were very nice and attentive. The drawbacks were the property is a little dated, the water pressure is a little low, some minor cosmetic improvements and a little TLC could make this place very nice. Special recognition to Mr Kiro (hope I spelled his name correctly) at the bar. Kept our drinks full and presented all our food orders."

"I've been coming back for more than 20 years, even before the new owners upgraded everything. This hotel is the best value in San Juan Del Sur. Next to cathedral and main park, walk to everything. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and fully bilingual. The neighborhood while very close in is quiet and safe. Its just below Pelican Eyes at half the price. Rooms and beds light, airy and comfortable even at the lower price point. All town's amenities are a few steps away."
"The place is beautiful, and the sights are amazing. I especially loved the incredible view of the volcano. However, what I didn’t like was the bathroom. The electrical box is placed in a location where, every time we take a shower, the handle gives us an electric shock. This is very concerning and should be addressed for the safety of the guests.

"The staff was very helpful. My Spanish is not good but they understood me fine. The manager/owner speaks very good English and is a real nice guy. He and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The place is only a few blocks from the beach and very affordable. No noisy bars just peace and quite. The place was clean and quite with great AC. You can use the kitchen to cook and they always have free drinking water available. Right next to a park and playground for kids and their prices can't be...
