"The property was bright and clean and my room faced into a lovely park. Nice cozy balcony. Excellent location being near the Old Town area. I had a car , although no onsite parking. It was easy to find overnight parking.
Ayomonte is a real hidden gem, unfortunate that I only had time for an overnight."
"This hotel is basic but new and very clean. The room was a good size with a nice view. It's also a unique experience to have a museum in the hotel building. It doesn't have an elevator which was no issue for us because we only had carry-ons. But something to keep in mind when booking."
"O quarto dizia ter varanda, mas na realidade não tinha e era bem pequeno, o colchão era um pouco duro mas a vista acaba por compensar! A piscina sobre o rio, Mértola e o seu castelo é top, fazia falta uma WC na área. A localização é ótima, com a praia fluvial Tapada Grande bem perto. O casal de funcionários são super simpáticos e prestáveis, mas têm muito trabalho a seu encargo..."
"Aside from the confusing parking, between reserved for hotel and for public, the stay was perfect. It was a quick check in and the room was plenty for two people to stay in. It is straight-forward and easy, includes resturant, breakfast/dinner and has a pool area to relax. The staff were amazing and spoke multiple languages to accomodate guests with different nationalities. Overall stay was great. Location was very close to many shops and restuarants in the area of Monte Gordo."
"Hotel da década de 70, toda mobília já desgastada por 50 anos de uso
Nada funcionava no quarto: Wi-Fi, frigobar e tv … Ainda bem que foi apenas 1 noite para dormir em trânsito"
"Extended our stay in the Algarve region by spending a night here. It was quickly obvious that one night was far too short for this wonderful property. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. You can’t beat the location. Snacks and breakfast were very tasty. The ultimate place to relax. We hope to be back soon!"
"We had a very warm welcome and the Appartement was in good condition. Parking was in a garage and big enough for our Van. We spent three great days there. Also the kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed. Thanks to the Solmares team"
