"Paper thin walls and night club next door ! Room was basic for the price we paid. Phone not working. Very small bathroom with a nearly see through door ! The lift only goes down to the first floor - not to the ground floor. Breakfast overpriced. Only positive was the view. "

"We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort of our room at Hotel Castell'Verde, which was newly renovated, had fantastic air conditioning, and included a sizable outdoor terrace. The property itself is adequately appointed with nicely manicured gardens, two tennis courts, and a small-ish pool for hotel guests, which was never busy during the three days we stayed. We chose the hotel for it's proximity to the beach (10 minute walk) and Porto Vecchio (15 minute drive). Reception and housekeeping...

"Nice hotel and pool. The rooms had pretty thin walls as we were able to hear the rooms next to/above us. The staff wasn't very helpful for us when trying to get help making a reservation in town because our phones didn't work. We were basically told 'no we don't do that' and turned away without further assistance. The rooms and facilities were nicely sized and clean! Location was good; close to the marina and to town."

"Friendly staff who spoke fairly good English. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Came with crockery and cutlery and some pots and pans to use. We weren't aware that we would have to bring our own hand soap which I was a bit annoying on the first day. You are also given one toilet roll and one bin bag. It would of been helpful to know this before arriving. Other than that it was in a good location from Porto-Vecchio, with a nice little beach attached. "

"Lovely breakfast of local produce delivered to your villa..drive up to the complex was a little scary though!! Lovely treat to be given a 2 room villa which gave us lots of of space."

"So, this is not an hotel, it's a holiday village with little hobbit-like bungalows, a bar and a restaurant, and a large pool. The outdoor restaurant plays loud music until midnight so don't plan to sleep before then. The food at the restaurant was ok but the bread was chewy, no reason to have dinner unless you are stuck at the resort. Check-out is early at 10 am."

"Really nice clean hotel residence, room had all we needed and is well furnished, the mattress was a could have done with another pillow. The pool was clean and water nice but shame about the lack of shade, I did mention this and they said they are looking for a solution that works. Phillippe at reception was ever to kind and welcoming, he managed to check us in early and was ever to helpful in suggestions things to do in the area and in others on our 2 week trip of Corsica.
