"Very quiet area of town outside Reykjavik. Hotel was clean and had plenty of amenities. Only scary part was someone walking into our hotel room at 2am because the door wasn’t closed properly. Didn’t learn till after that you have to lift door for it to properly lock. Overall, was a nice stay"
"The Artist Lodge is the highlight of our round trip this autumn. It’s located close to a peaceful fjord, yet well connected to the capital and route 1. We’re glad to choose it as our final stop this time, to have a well relaxed farewell to Iceland. Guests can enjoy a natural hot spring 24/7."
"The staff was very happy and very helpful. Everyone must look at staying here. The views the staff the extra rooms where you can sit and read or play games or just sit and enjoy the view were abundant. The breakfast was the best we had in the 12 days we were here and their suppers were very good from the risotto to the lasagna delicious
Thank you for making our 2 nights very enjoyable"
"We loved the cozy atmosphere we felt upon arriving at the Inn. There's a common area to hang out in with board games to play, with comfy chairs and a dining area aswell. The hosts offered free coffee or tea which was a nice touch. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was a little small with an awkward curb on the floor for the shower area but thats more of an observation than a complaint. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again"
"Exceptional home with a great layout and wonderful views of the Fjord and mountains. The host was wonderful, and the apartment is decorated with original artworks through out."
"Attention: The lock of the outer door is defective, never go out without a key! It locks itself, the mechanism to change it is broken. With other doors of this type, you have to actively lock it. After half an hour and several phone calls, help finally arrived. Please have it repaired.
It was also disappointing that the house does not have its own jacuzzi. Here the pictures are definitely deceiving! The hot tub is located at the community house "in the immediate vicinity", which is over 1 km...
"Loved the farm tranquil setting. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped. The cabin was adorable and relaxing to watch the horses. Host was very responsive to inquiries. Definitely staying there on our next visit!"
