"The hotel stay was excellent, my whole family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teens) loved this hotel. We booked a studio room (double bed and a bunk bed). Room was very clean with a small kitchen area, dining table and a sofa. It is close to ski station and many eateries within walking distance. The reception area at level 4 was superb! "Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. I didn’t have time to try the sauna or the gym, but...

"Accoglienza molto calorosa e gentile. Il proprietario é estremamente disponibile e ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. La cucina è ottima e abbondante e offre piatti prelibati, sempre presente un buffet di verdure. A 10 minuti di macchina si arriva all’impianto di Santa Maddalena con una pista medio facile e di fronte all’hotel c’è un altro impianto con una pista di difficoltà media. La valle è attraversata da diverse itinerari per lo sci di fondo. Sicuramente torneremo!"

"Hervorragendes Hotel mit tollem Ausblick auf die Berge. Sehr freundliches Personal, gemütliche Zimmer und tolle Speisen! Es werden überwiegend lokale Produkte angeboten. Auch das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis passt, da nachmittags kostenfrei zusätzlich herzhafte und süße Kleinigkeiten angeboten werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! "
