"Lovely hotel not far from the Rhine. Staff were very friendly & spoke English well. The public rooms are lovely & lovely terraces to sit out on & enjoy a drink. Dinner was absolutely fabulous, they are obviously have a fantastic chef & team. Room was a bit disappointing, small but fairly functional but nowhere to do hair & makeup & layout any toiletries. Manageable for 1 night but will book a bigger room next time "

"It was a beautiful location, well decorated and kept clean. They have an incredible breakfast setup too. We were very dissatisfied with the temperature in the room. We stayed in a room with a ‘ac’ air blower that didn’t work, and due to smokers outside we could not comfortably open the doors, which had no screens available to keep out bugs. It just needs a more realistic setup for hot temperatures."

"We made a last minute reservation, looking forward to staying along the Mosel River, and were thoroughly pleased with this inexpensive, charming hotel. Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable. "Nice hotel. Slightly dated, but very clean and staff was very nice! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious ! Town just a very short drive away. Good restaurants and shops and just a short drive to the Rhine River. Would recommend this hotel. Great price too"

"Clean and comfortable. At the time we stayed, 21 to 29 December 2017 the hotel was largely filled with elderly German coach parties. They seemed to be on a full board basis so the dining room was crowded at mealtimes. Luckily we were able to use the smaller room off the main area which was quieter and quite pleasant. We only ate breakfast here and there was a good range of breads, cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts and fresh fruits. The cooked aspect was not so well catered for, with buffet style...

"Nice hotel close to wine pubs/restaurants. Clean and modern with nice buffet breakfast. Very nice staff at breakfast time. Terrible check in experience. Arrived before 3 (the stated check in time) and reception was closed. Waited abs waited. Could not reach hotel by phone or via doorbell until somebody came at 4pm - there was no apology, just a remark that the stated checkin time of 3 pm was not applicable since the boss was not around. Really??? There was no message or door sign to that...

"Nice country hotel, if you plan however to wake up ealy next morning, watch out for overnight parties! In my case, I was relocated two times (at my request, of course, they seem not to have thought about it) until I ended up in a room a little smelly (but at least I could sleep)."

"Nice view, very nice place if the weather is OK, so tha you can make use of one of he many terasses, or the Biergarden. Food is excellent, room was very decent, nice balcony. All in all a very pleasant experience."
