Breakfast offered the widest range of Japanese dishes of any hotel we stayed at (all good quality and some dishes different each day) with local specialities like soba, a selection of fresh tempura including shrimp and asparagus and much more. There is a welcome drink (beer, whisky, soft drinks - one free each day - and free late night soup too. A nice onsen bath too."

I'm sure if I could have had a non-smoking room, I would have enjoyed my stay more. The hotel was close to the train station so it was loud during the day. It was no problem at night. It was convenient to do laundry at the hotel. "
